LEAP MAIN - PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR
About The Position
We are a ministry providing comprehensive services to children and adults who have physical and intellectual disabilities. Job Duties: Responsible for instruction and enriching activities with an emphasis on community involvement to a program room of 8-12 adults with developmental disabilities Provide hands on support to individuals as needed, direct care duties as needed Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for individuals and staff. Good communication skills (oral and written) Excellent organization skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple projects
Requirements
- Ability to pass physical and drug screening
- Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting)
- TB testing
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred orAssociates Degree or documented post-high school college credits, OR 5 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities required
