About The Position

Join Us to Scale Lean Excellence Location: Mocksville, North Carolina (Onsite) | Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm Why This Role Be the engine behind better, faster, safer production. In this hands-on technologist role, you’ll convert insights from the floor into standardized processes and measurable gains—while learning from experienced manufacturing engineers in a high-impact environment. Key Outcomes Document manufacturing processes and compare alternatives to elevate performance. Deliver improvement proposals anchored in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Performance. Execute Drop Zone updates and bill-of-material changes with precision. Communicate effectively across internal/external engineering channels; present to peers and leadership. Lead or back Kaizen events and standard work rollouts. Boost quality metrics and production efficiency using root-cause and data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on change and sustainment.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a BS or MS program in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Foundational CAD/CAM proficiency.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership potential, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfort with digital tools; self-starter who thrives in a team setting.
