About The Position

Position Overview: The Leak Tester is responsible for testing our product for leaks prior to painting and, sequentially, shipping. Other processes within operations such as using compressed air regulators, the use of water for testing, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues
• Detailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast moving environment
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Positive approach in all interactions
• Team orientated and self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a rapidly changing environment
• Solid organization skills
• Willingness to learn new systems as needed

Responsibilities

• Test all products for leaks
• Use compressed air and water for testing
• Regulate compressed air to a minimum of 40 psi
• Properly use pipe fittings for testing
• Attention to detail
• Looks into recurring issues to help determine root cause
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Perform all duties in a safe and timely manner
