Overview: Responsible for originating and booking direct customer transactions, including heavy cold calling efforts to repeat direct customer contacts not currently assigned to a salesperson. Primary Responsibilities: Work with the technology vendor to understand their needs to contribute to the generation of revenue from the re-sellers through cross-selling, upselling, and add-on and promotional sales. Serve as single point of contact to ensure the timely and proper handling of the processing of lease and finance transactions and any related issues from origination to booking through post-termination of agreements. Complete cold-calling to potential vendors via phone to generate new business opportunities. Document sales-related activities to provide a record for future reference. Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
