About The Position

About the Team The Leadership Recruiting team identifies and cultivates the senior talent that accelerates DoorDash’s operational excellence and long-term growth. We partner with executives across all non-technical organizations to build diverse leadership pipelines that shape how DoorDash scales, innovates, and delivers for our employees, merchants, dashers, and customers. Our team leads high-impact initiatives that elevate our talent strategy and strengthen DoorDash’s leadership bench. About the Role As a Leadership Sourcer, you will own the research, market mapping, and proactive engagement strategy for Director-level talent across G&A, Sales, Strategy & Operations, and CXI. You will partner closely with Leadership Recruiters and senior business leaders to define search strategies, generate robust and diverse pipelines, and cultivate long-term relationships with top external leaders. In your first 90 days, you will establish talent landscapes, launch sourcing strategies for active searches, and begin building evergreen pipelines for future leadership needs.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of sourcing and candidate development experience, including experience supporting leadership or senior-level hiring across non-technical functions (e.g., G&A, Sales, Strategy & Operations, Finance, HR, Legal).
  • You bring deep expertise in talent research, market mapping, and candidate identification, and you leverage data to inform sourcing strategy and stakeholder decisions.
  • You have a track record of building strong working relationships with recruiting partners and business leaders in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • You excel at cultivating diverse pipelines and developing long-term relationships with leadership candidates and external organizations.
  • You are self-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating with autonomy while navigating complex, ambiguous searches.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute research and sourcing strategies for Director-level searches across all non-technical functions, including mapping talent markets and identifying high-impact prospects.
  • Partner with Leadership Recruiters and business leaders to develop calibrated job and candidate profiles, ensuring alignment on role requirements and ideal skill sets.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality, and diverse leadership pipelines that meet the evolving needs of DoorDash’s non-tech organizations.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with external senior leaders, maintaining ongoing engagement to strengthen DoorDash’s future leadership bench.
  • Use data, insights, and structured reporting to drive search strategy, inform stakeholder decisions, and recommend continuous improvements to sourcing processes.

  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
