Role Summary / Purpose In this role, you will collaborate with the GE Vernova Hydro Power leadership team to develop, accelerate and implement a LEAN transformation and continuous improvement strategy. You will define the direction and deployment of the LEAN framework to ensure consistent and rigorous application across the business, in accordance with global best practices. The main responsibility of this position is to develop Lean competence within GE Vernova Hydro Power, maintain the Lean roadmap, prepare monthly operating reviews and lead the improvement of project processes, establishing practices and principles that promote and enable the company's Lean transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with Engineering/ Technical preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A senior experience in an operating position (Engineering processes, Transactional processes, Value Chain)
  • Minimum of 5 years as dedicated LEAN Leader, including Hoshin Kanri
  • An automotive, industrial manufacturing or transactional background would be highly appreciated.
  • Need to understand execution of complex projects.
  • Language requirements: Fluent English is required with spoken knowledge of French preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead the team to execute the LEAN strategy, aiming for productivity and quality gains. Promote high standards and embody Lean behaviors. Lead the Hydro Lean Leaders community.
  • Strategy: Co-build and deploy the LEAN vision, strategy and processes with Hydro Power leaders. Launch initiatives and projects to improve performance.
  • Execution: Analyze processes, identify waste, and drive productivity projects. Develop and implement continuous improvement activities. Manage KPIs related to the LEAN strategy and operational monitoring. Track project progress, risks, resources and critical milestones. Participate in Lean audits and recommend improvements.
  • Change Management: Act as a change agent to institutionalize Lean initiatives. Train and support leaders in adopting Lean principles. Facilitate cross-functional strategic workshops (AWO). Support the evolution of the GE Vernova Hydro Power LEAN system.
