About The Position

Responsible for assisting the department supervisor in all daily functions of production. Oversee and help meet production standards in supervisor absence. Assist and learn necessary production reporting procedures. Responsible for helping employees with problems and concerns and to assist supervisor in solving them when necessary. Assist supervisor in safety awareness and alert of any unsafe conditions. Assist supervisor in regulating production flow to achieve highest efficiency. Train and develop both new hires and existing associates. Responsible for good housekeeping practices and the facility sanitation goals are met. Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent

Requirements

  • Must be able and willing to perform / learn all positions of the Disassembly II department.
  • Must be willing and able wo have good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, ability to work independently, and must be results oriented and good problem-solving techniques.
  • Must also adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
  • May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds.
  • Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
  • Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.
  • Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
  • Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
  • Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment.
  • Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 10 seconds.
  • Location does not accept rehires
  • Must have a minimum 6 cumulative experience leads/must have a minimum 6 cumulative experience months industrial maintenance experience or equivalent training. (maintenance/refrigeration leads)
