JobSummary: TheWarehouse Lead oversees the receiving, shipping, counting, labeling, recordingand correction of exceptions related to Fuji Food Products Inventory. This position assiststhe Operations in organizing and directing the work of Warehouse Assistants tomeet departmental demands.

Requirements

  • Education- High School Diploma
  • Abilityto read and communicate verbally in English required.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to be able to interact with employeesand others at any level within an organization in a professional and productivemanner.
  • ComputerLiterate and preferably have experience with MRP/ERP and Microsoft OfficePrograms.
  • Abilityto learn and apply departmental or Company policies, procedures and rules.
  • Abilityto learn and apply Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulationspertaining to human resources.
  • Abilityto work independently in the absence of supervision.
  • Abilityto establish and maintain co-operative working relationships with other employees,departments, managers, and Company leadership.
  • Abilityto demonstrate accurate basic math skills
  • Abilityto work independently and within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Abilityto read, write and speak in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that company policy and procedures pertaining to Warehouse operations are followed at all times.
  • Monitors warehouse employees’ work on a daily basis by organizing their activities and job assignments to meet the daily workload.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform well under time constraints.
  • Oversees shipping and receiving processes to ensure that all procedures are followed and that required documentation is maintained. Examples include: verifying accurate quantities and temperature of the products received; ensuring that finished product is labeled by pallet with the proper destination; and filling out the temperature log (Including shipping, receiving, daily temperature and calibration log). This also includes inputting the data online.
  • Inspects the truck and product temperature before loading and unloading, and helps with loading with unloading.
  • Documents instances of temperature abuse and reports them to the appropriate person.
  • Performs corrective actions based on findings from customer audits, 3rd party audits, and internal audits.
  • Notifies the Senior Warehouse Lead of the truck departure time from the origin.
  • Thoroughly reviews and correctly imports Raw Material Data Processes in ERP system.
  • Maintains accurate count of all raw materials that go into production.
  • Cycle counts Top 100 items based on dollar value on a weekly basis.
  • Evaluates causes of any Inventory discrepancies and reports them to Supply Chain Manager.
  • Monitor methods and procedures throughout the warehouse for accurate inventory reporting and storage.
  • Works with Fuji Departments to ensure Inventory Controls are followed and assists in generating formal action plans for non-compliant departments.
  • Maintains organization of the warehouse to ensure that all materials are in proper locations with proper markings per requirements.
