Profile Summary: The Warehouse Lead distributes daily work to the fulfillment team and works directly with customers and suppliers in order to maintain clear communication. They lead and perform all floor operations and are able to facilitate process improvements to streamline work. The lead will also act as a mentor to the team while fostering a positive working environment and perform reconciliation of all transactions as needed and maintain close attention to detail. Hybrid Work Model: This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies. Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients. The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. This range does not include benefits or, if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, education, job-related skills, job duties, and business need.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of 4 – 5 years of relevant experience
  • California Driver’s License is Required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible with tasks and schedules
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift Certification preferred, not required
  • Previous work experience in a lab preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear verbal or written instructions so that the expectations of employee roles are understood
  • An understanding of databases, and spreadsheets and strong numeracy skills to carry out these tasks efficiently
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, shipping, warehouse, and in the quality of goods
  • Assist colleagues when necessary and continue to be polite and helpful at all times to ensure a smooth running of the warehouse
  • Motivate the warehouse team, provide guidance, and delegate tasks, which requires your strong leadership skill
  • Ensure the warehouse is always ready for internal and external Audits
  • Experience with implementing Kanban Methodology
  • Experience in implementing, executing and improving cycle count programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
