About The Position

The Co-Pack Lead Coordinator is responsible for maintaining continuous co-pack production by ensuring co-packing projects are run efficiently. This role involves collaborating with the production coordinator to oversee the scheduling of resources to keep work flowing. The Lead Coordinator serves as the point of contact for anyone on shift for questions or directions and will work with the department Supervisor/Manager on issues, status updates, and ideas to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate an ability to motivate a team and provide feedback which positively influences hourly personnel without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years related co-packing experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Establish flow of production orders based on inventory, timing, and demand.
  • Coordinate with production staff to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
  • Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Support quality control efforts by assisting in the inspection of incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Assure the production team is performing line cleanout and work cell cleanup before the next job.
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records related to warehouse operations.
  • Required to communicate in-person or by written/email on personal issues or concerns of production to support team and facility at the end of shift.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Train, mentor, and support production personnel on safety procedures and work efficiency.
  • Transport finished goods, stage input materials, and cover for breaks.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse space.
  • Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
