About The Position

The Lead Warehouse Assistant is responsible for performing tasks related to receiving products, stocking, replenishment, and inventory control. The Lead Warehouse Assistant is also responsible for ensuring the quality of the product is at an acceptable level and removing damaged or non-conforming products. This position safely transfers material from the receiving area to the warehouse or other designated locations and ensures proper stock rotation.

Requirements

Basic mathematical skills which include adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and calculating percentages
Ability to: Help maintain a safe work environment.
Read, write and communicate in English
Work weekends and holidays as required
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Interpersonal and team-oriented skills
Self-starting, self-motivating mindset
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail preferred
Minimum of one year of experience working in a warehouse setting or volunteering at Revivals working in the warehouse
Proficient in Word and Excel
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Operates in a store and warehouse setting at times and requires constant times of sitting, standing, repetitive motion and talking
Potential exposure to hazard materials, irritants and allergens and noise
Exposure to extreme weather conditions, both hot and cold

Nice To Haves

Experience/knowledge of a thrift store environment preferred
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Sort donated items
Safely load and unload Revivals donation trucks and assist with unloading deliveries of new products
Unpack received new products comparing the purchase order to the product received for accuracy and counting quantities of product received
Process donated clothing to include sorting, hanging, pricing, and putting out on the sales floor
Assist with store displays as needed
Ensure task sheets are completed
Assign tasks as necessary.
Organize and maintains new furniture warehouse
Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and restrooms as needed
Greet customers when on the sales floor and assists customers with their questions or requests
Open and closes warehouse when needed
Perform other duties as assigned
