About The Position

Waters Edge Lodge is looking for Lead Wait Staff! Pay Rate- $18.27 per hour The primary functions of an Lead Wait are: Work with other Wait Staff as a team Ensure dining area is clean and prepared for meal service, including table settings and placement of centerpieces Greet residents and guests once seated Present menus, explain options, and answer questions about the menu Take and deliver food orders, paying attention to published dietary restrictions of residents Work with and direct dinner wait staff in insuring the completion of side tasks and proper dining room turnover We are looking for Full-time on the dinner shift (11:00-am-7:30pm) Full-time is a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 2 days off Waters Edge Lodge is nestled in a unique and peaceful setting on the lagoon of Harbor Bay. Our 100 apartments provide a warm and familiar atmosphere where residents can maintain an independent and active lifestyle. We offer an extensive list of programs and activities, creating a stimulating social atmosphere where friendships develop and thrive. We are a pet friendly community, residents may have animals in their private apartments.

Requirements

21+ years of age
Ability to work effectively with all personality types
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Effective communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate clearly and audibly while working with elders with hearing deficits
Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
Ability to follow written and oral directions
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Push/pull 75 pounds up to 100 feet
Current COVID-19 vaccination
Routine COVID tests
Physical TB test
Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice

Responsibilities
