About The Position

Team Liquid is seeking a Lead Videographer to manage end-to-end video production across our esports team and brand channels. This role covers planning, filming, and editing video content across digital platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other social channels. The position works with players, coaches, marketing teams, and partnerships teams to produce content that captures matches, team culture, and brand partnerships. The role also maintains the production schedule, executes sponsor deliverables, and provides direction to junior creators to maintain consistent production quality. This role requires strong production skills, video storytelling experience, and familiarity with esports and digital audiences.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional videography experience, including camera operation, lighting, and on-set production.
  • Strong professional video editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable editing software.
  • At least 2 years producing content for brands, media organizations, sports teams, or gaming audiences.
  • Portfolio demonstrating short-form, long-form, and branded video content.
  • Experience with After Effects or comparable motion graphics tools.
  • Experience managing shoots from pre-production through post-production.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • Clear communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience producing content for esports teams, gaming organizations, sports teams, or streamers.
  • Motion graphics experience using After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with live production or streaming tools such as OBS or vMix.
  • Knowledge of social video formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.
  • Experience producing sponsor-integrated content.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools and automated workflows.
  • Availability to travel for esports events, tournaments, or bootcamps.
  • Availability to work flexible hours during tournaments or major campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, and edit video content for team, brand, and player channels.
  • Produce multiple content formats including short-form social clips, long-form YouTube content, event recaps, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Export and deliver platform-optimized video formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and Twitch.
  • Maintain the video production calendar aligned with tournaments, announcements, and campaigns.
  • Coordinate shoot schedules with players, coaches, and internal teams.
  • Translate creative briefs into production plans including shot lists, timelines, and production logistics.
  • Capture video content at tournaments, bootcamps, and team events.
  • Record match coverage, interviews, reactions, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Produce quick-turn content for social publishing during events.
  • Produce sponsorship and branded content deliverables including campaign videos and social media assets.
  • Ensure content meets brand guidelines and partner requirements.
  • Translate sponsor briefs into production plans and deliverable lists.
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity across video content including framing, color grading, titles, and editing style.
  • Maintain templates and editing workflows to ensure efficient production.
  • Maintain production equipment including cameras, lighting, lenses, audio gear, and storage systems.
  • Organize footage libraries, project files, and archives for efficient retrieval.
  • Identify equipment upgrades and production improvements when necessary.
  • Use AI-assisted tools and automation workflows to increase editing efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
  • Apply tools such as AI transcription, noise reduction, and upscaling where appropriate.
  • Work with marketing, social media, and partnerships teams on campaign content.
  • Contribute ideas for new content formats and video series.
  • Review performance insights and adjust production approaches when needed.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to junior videographers, editors, and freelance creators.
  • Maintain consistent production workflows and quality standards across the team.
