We are looking for a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician with solid surgical experience to join our team. Why Our Veterinary Technicians Love Animal Clinic of Grand Prairie Consistent scheduling with no nights or weekend hours Team-first culture that’s supportive, fun, and big on growth Leadership that listens and invests in your development Mentorship, continuing education, and real career pathways What You’ll Do Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and all aspects of surgery Perform surgical prep, including induction, IV catheter placement, intubation, and anesthesia monitoring Maintain sterile technique and assist during surgery as needed Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures Perform diagnostics, including bloodwork, radiology, and lab tests Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Provide safe handling and restraint of animals Maintain detailed medical records Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, surgery suite, kennel areas, and equipment Contribute to a positive, team-centered work environment What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring Previous surgical experience required (anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and recovery) Strong communication and client-service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments Familiarity with EzyVet is a plus

Responsibilities
