The Lead Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for directing the activities of Ultrasound Technologists on the assigned shift. A Brief Overview The Lead Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for directing the activities of Ultrasound Technologists on the assigned shift. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Health Arts
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer -Breast - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics and Gynecology - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Ability to understand and prepare complex written materials, such as patient records and technical manuals.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with co-workers, physicians and patients and their families.
  • Prepared by education, training, or experience to work with adult, geriatric, pediatric, or neonate patients.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintain control of workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Practice Excellence through assessment, care, evaluation and education to patients and families in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains and promotes compliance with all regulatory requirements, reimbursement standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility.
