Lead Ultrasound Tech - Inpatient
About The Position
Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing institution, constantly expanding the quality and reach of its care to patients and communities. The Lead Ultrasound Tech position involves leading the daily activities of the assigned Ultrasound Modality. This role acts as a resource concerning the specialty area for radiologists, radiology staff, and other departments, and serves as a liaison between the department and referring physician's offices. The individual will work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Registered ARDMS Ultrasound Tech
- Two (2) years of experience in Specialty Area.
- Must hold Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- Two years of supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Leads the daily activities of assigned Modality (US).
- Acts as a resource concerning specialty area for the radiologists, radiology staff and other departments.
- Acts as a liaison between their department and referring physician’s offices.
- Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
