Responsibilities Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Patient services include diagnostic ultrasounds of inpatient high-risk pregnancies under the care of Maternal Fetal Medicine providers. Promotes and advocates for imaging services by staying abreast of the latest technological and equipment changes. The Lead Ultrasound Technologist ensures accreditation standards are maintained, as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of ultrasound equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital based training program, or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
