Join us and enjoy these fantastic perks!Job SummaryThe Customs Compliance Partner will oversee customs compliance responsibilities under the Supply Chain Group This position will provide a assist with leverage expertise in international trade regulations, particularly USMCA, anti-dumping, countervailing duties, and Customs and Border Protection compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field or equivalent level of experience
  • 7 years of experience in trade compliance
  • Demonstrated experience in tariff classification
  • Intermediate or above skill with Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in trade compliance, e.g., Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of USMCA, anti-dumping, and CBP regulations
  • Previous project management experience
  • Experience with Change Management

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that trade operations adhere to U.S. and international regulatory standards
  • Safeguard the company against risks while enhancing the efficiency of our global trade processes
  • Clarify trade practices and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations by setting standards and routines to drive compliance excellence
  • Accurately maintain all necessary records and documentation related to customs clearance, including but not limited to import/export records and duty/tax payments
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for trade compliance activities, ensuring progress toward compliance goals, including audit outcomes and non-compliance prevention
  • Tariff classifications, duty rates, preference program qualifications, and other applicable customs compliance criteria with the customs broker.
  • Audits customs entries for correctness and conformity with appropriate laws and regulations
  • Provide training and advice on the changes in customs requirements.
  • Monitor changes in trade regulations (e.g., U.S. Customs Regulations, HTSUS, NAFTA) and advise key stakeholders on how these changes will affect global operations
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing the global trade compliance program, ensuring it meets regulatory standards and fostering continuous improvement through audits and corrective actions
  • Other duties as assigned
