About The Position
At The Learning Experience, our teachers create nurturing classrooms where children build confidence, communication skills, and independence through joyful early learning experiences supported by the L.E.A.P. curriculum. The Learning Experience – Brooklyn Bushwick is seeking an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide children through key early developmental milestones.
Requirements
- One of the following required:
- 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
- CDA credential
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- High school diploma plus 5 years professional childcare experience
- Toddler classroom experience required
Responsibilities
- Lead a toddler classroom in a structured, responsive environment
- Support language, movement, and social-emotional development
- Implement activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Maintain consistent routines and classroom organization
- Partner with assistant teachers to ensure classroom quality
- Communicate regularly with families about progress and routines
- Maintain compliance with NYC childcare licensing standards
