As our community grows, we are seeking a dedicated & experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team in Easton, PA! As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe space where children can explore and learn literacy, science, math, art, computers, dramatic play, and other skills with hands-on activities.

Requirements

  • Education/Certification: Child Development Associate (CDA) certification (valid in PA & unexpired) or a degree in Early Childhood Education is required
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of childcare experience in a classroom setting is required
  • Skills required: A positive attitude, patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children are a must! As are: excellent communication skills with both children and adults, a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs., climb and descend stairs, move and exercise with the children, stand for long periods, and pass a health screening

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate a developmentally appropriate creative curriculum
  • Create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
  • Effectively communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and concerns
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive educational program
  • Attend training sessions to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
