About The Position

The Lead X-ray Technologist will provide excellence and innovation in the care of patients, the training of staff, and the creation and sharing of health knowledge. The Lead Technologist must apply knowledge and principles of radiation protection to achieve radiation exposures ALARA. The Lead Technologist must know and understand processes, workflows, protocols, and policies in order to be a firsthand resource for other technologists.

Requirements

  • Active IEMA license
  • Active ARRT license
  • Active Healthcare Provider CPR certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program with an AAS or BA.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a Lead Technologist by assisting other Radiologic Technologists, ensures quality, and handling of daily situations as they arise.
  • Acts as a conduit between supervisor and staff technologists.
