Welcome to the Agentic Commerce Era At Commerce, our mission is to empower businesses to innovate, grow, and thrive with our open, AI-driven commerce ecosystem. As the parent company of BigCommerce , Feedonomics , and Makeswift , we connect the tools and systems that power growth, enabling businesses to unlock the full potential of their data, deliver seamless and personalized experiences across every channel, and adapt swiftly to an ever-changing market. Simply said, we help businesses confidently solve complex commerce challenges so they can build smarter, adapt faster, and grow on their own terms. If you want to be part of a team of bold builders, sharp thinkers, and technical trailblazers, working together to shape the future of commerce, this is the place for you. Commerce is looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager to drive the execution and evolution of Catalyst , BigCommerce's next-generation storefront architecture powered by Next.js, React, and the Storefront GraphQL API. BigCommerce, part of the Commerce brand family, helps merchants increase sales at every stage of their growth. From small startups to mid-market businesses and large enterprises, we provide the leading e-commerce platform. Our customers can then concentrate on what's most important: growing their businesses. We enable our customers to build, innovate, and grow, collectively reshaping the e-commerce industry . Our platform currently serves tens of thousands of developers globally, processing billions of dollars in merchant revenue annually. Catalyst is the architectural forcing function moving BigCommerce toward a public-API-first, composable commerce platform — and you'll be at the center of it. The ecosystem spans the Storefront GraphQL API, a versioned SDK framework, a Reference Theme, Checkout modernization, B2B integration, Native Hosting on Cloudflare Workers, and a Visual Builder integration. You'll own the product vision and execution across all of them. This is not a traditional PM role. You'll be designing TypeScript SDK APIs, defining GraphQL schema contracts, shaping the developer experience for a Next.js framework, and architecting a hosting product on Cloudflare's edge platform. You need to be as comfortable reading code as you are writing a roadmap — able to run the product locally, open a PR when something needs fixing, and go deep on technical decisions without waiting for someone to explain them. That doesn't mean you know everything, it means you're willing to go figure it out. To be considered, the applicant must reside in the United States. We have a preference for candidates located in Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA.
