About The Position

As part of the Mid Markets Tier 3 Technical Support team, this position is a pre-sales solutions specialist responsible for driving sales opportunities for our Cloud Voice portfolio, which includes CV for MS Teams, AT&T Business Voice, Office@Hand and Cloud Contact Center solutions. This position consults on technical issues during joint sales call with the sales team. Collaborates through a diverse scope of pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities requiring complex solutions and has a proven track record of supporting Cloud Voice solutions Responsibilities include consulting with customers, selling and supporting company products and systems. This position demonstrates a full working knowledge and experience in current and legacy voice services including by not limited to: Voice over IP (premise and cloud): IP Flex Reach, PRI, POTS, Centrex, Toll Free Services PBX and key system basics: how they function, limitations, basic set up options Peripheral CPE: paging systems, door controllers, wiring options / cabling infrastructure UCaaS and CCaaS service platforms: Over the top analog line replacement services: alarm, security, gate phone, door boxes Contact Center fundamentals: call queue, agent assist, virtual agent, sentiment analysis, omni channel MS Teams Operator Connect / Direct Routing Office at Hand (RingCentral): voice, SMS, fax, collaboration Position expects foundational knowledge of network and security services: General understanding with the ability to help identify sales opportunities and demonstrate the value of an AT&T solution to drive fiber port and VAS sales Works on complex problems and solutions where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Position provides technical expertise in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. Requires seasoned in- depth knowledge of functional/process area and considered a subject matter expert. Consultant creates recommendations, and implements new methods, techniques, and/or procedures for complex solutions with diverse scope. Consultant is typically viewed as a mentor or coach. Should be comfortable with and confident in leading training calls, working with sales leadership, running sales calls, collaborating with others including project management, marketing and support teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas
  • Full working knowledge and experience in current and legacy voice services including by not limited to: Voice over IP (premise and cloud): IP Flex Reach, PRI, POTS, Centrex, Toll Free Services PBX and key system basics: how they function, limitations, basic set up options Peripheral CPE: paging systems, door controllers, wiring options / cabling infrastructure UCaaS and CCaaS service platforms: Over the top analog line replacement services: alarm, security, gate phone, door boxes Contact Center fundamentals: call queue, agent assist, virtual agent, sentiment analysis, omni channel MS Teams Operator Connect / Direct Routing Office at Hand (RingCentral): voice, SMS, fax, collaboration
  • Foundational knowledge of network and security services: General understanding with the ability to help identify sales opportunities and demonstrate the value of an AT&T solution to drive fiber port and VAS sales
  • Seasoned in- depth knowledge of functional/process area and considered a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities
