The Vice President of Technology Workplace Design and Deployment will lead a dynamic team of engineers and architects to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure technology solutions. This role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise in full stack development, data systems architecture, and cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment with business objectives. What you'll do in the role: Technical Leadership Direct the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications across front-end and back-end stacks (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, Node.js, Java, .NET, SQL/NoSQL databases). Architect and optimize data systems, including data models, ETL pipelines, and integration with analytics platforms. Implement best practices for API development, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable delivery. Team Management Lead and mentor an agile development squad, promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Oversee and work with other department level leads to ensure dependent activities are understood and coordinated within the larger program activities. Manage strategic or critical projects as needed. Ability to indirectly manage virtual team members from a diverse cultural background Strategic Delivery Align technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance. Partner with product owners and stakeholders to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and manage interdependencies. Oversee vendor relationships and manage offshore/onshore delivery models. Quality & Governance Establish coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks. Monitor KPIs for velocity, defect remediation, and value realization. Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile/DevOps practices, and cloud modernization strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering with full stack development expertise.
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing development teams.
- Deep knowledge of data systems design, database technologies and data integration.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written/reporting skills

- Experience in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments.
