MS Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology works with large scale databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software, a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory entities, and programming languages ranging from .Net and JAVA to Cobol, MS SQL Server and VB.Net. What you'll do in the role: Architect, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable in-house system management web application. Implement Gen AI integration projects using inhouse API's to call LLM's. Work extensively with data streaming and processing technologies, including Kafka and Elasticsearch. Design and implement data management and reporting tools using RDBMS, Grafana etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. Independently drive initiatives, manage multiple work streams, and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Full stack Software Design and Development Experience
  • Full Stack Development: Strong experience in front-end and back-end development using technologies such as Python, Flask, NodeJS, REST.
  • Linux System Administration: Expertise in CentOS/Red Hat environments, with a focus on server automation and optimization.
  • Scripting & Automation Tools: proficiency in Bash scripting and Ansible.
  • Data Streaming & Processing: Experience with data streaming tools (Kafka) and processing technologies: Elasticsearch, Grafana etc.
  • Gen AI & Machine Learning: Practical experience with Gen AI integration projects and good knowledge on RAG implementations.
  • Database Management: Solid understanding of RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) for data storage and retrieval.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work both independently and lead collaborative team efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with self-healing frameworks and building proactive, resilient infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Airflow, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Kibana,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (CLI/SDK), Azure.
  • Experience with front end technology like Angular or React
