About The Position

At Child Development Schools and (local affiliate companies), we are a tight-knit community committed to empowering children and families across 11 states, providing top-notch developmental education for ages six weeks to twelve years. We are undergoing a cultural transformation within our schools and our approach to Early Childhood Education, seeking passionate educators and leaders to redefine childcare. With over 30,000 children under our care, we aim to create an environment where every child can thrive, supported by compassionate educators. As a Lead/Master Teacher, your primary focus will be leading classrooms, guiding young learners while prioritizing their safety and well-being. You will also plan engaging activities that promote growth across various areas of development and cultivate strong partnerships with parents through open communication.

Requirements

  • Are at least 18 years old
  • Can pass a background check
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED
  • Complete 12 hours of training in childcare within 30 days of starting your employment
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children
