About The Position
Kids Only is a not-for-profit, full-service childcare center operated on the campus of Piedmont Crossing, a ministry of EveryAge. It provides childcare services to the community, focusing on offering a warm, nurturing, secure, and stable environment where children can grow, learn, explore, and develop their abilities. The center is committed to each child’s overall well-being and is top-rated. The Lead Teacher is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks related to caring for and developing educational programming for preschool-aged children.
Requirements
- Requires a high school degree or its equivalent
- Early Childhood Credential required
- At least one year of child care experience required
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have current CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain the same
- Willingness to support the organization, residents, and colleagues according to mission and values
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is strongly preferred and is required for regulatory compliance when less than 75% of current staff hold the degree
