About The Position

L3Harris Technologies currently has an opening for a Mission Integration Lead, supporting the Advanced Tracking & Launch Analysis System (ATLAS) program. The Mission Integration Lead guides the activities of a geographically separated and multi-faceted team consisting of Orbital Analysts, Trainers, and a Technical Writer. The Mission Integration Lead will (1) supervise activities of orbital analysts who provide on-site mission and ATLAS system support; (2) supervise the development of training materials and the delivery of high-quality training to support the ATLAS system; and (3) supervise the Tech Writer’s refinement of the ATLAS Preliminary Technical Order and other required ATLAS documentation. Essential Functions: When needed, conduct satellite space situational awareness (SSA) activities as an orbital analyst, operating orbit determination and satellite characterization systems utilizing data from a variety of phenomenologies (e.g., radar, passive RF, optical, etc.). When needed, support ATLAS users in performing ATLAS functions, maintaining an understanding of ATLAS operations and any issues impeding operations, and identifying and resolving issues with the ATLAS system in coordination with ATLAS engineering teams and other stakeholders. Supervise activities of orbital analysts who provide on-site mission and ATLAS system support. Coordinate with supported users to proactively identify emerging mission support needs. Coordinate and lead ATLAS system demonstrations. Demonstrating key ATLAS functionality to include Observation Processing, Orbit Determination, Satellite Catalog Administrations, Manual Piece Separation (MPS), and key Event Management functions (e.g. Maneuver processing, Decay/Re-Entry/De-Orbit processing, Launch processing, Fragmentation processing etc.). Develop and coordinate training plans and training calendars to enable the delivery of training to larger training audiences. Coordinate Training Event and the associated training products with the Program Office, the Product Support Team, operational stakeholders. Supervise the development of high-quality training materials, meeting directed timelines. Ensure the delivery of high-quality training to support the ATLAS system users.
