Your role at Baxter This is a functional, process and system platform SME with proven experience in design, implementation, and data analysis in the supply chain domain. The role will support multiple supply chain applications such as TMS, Control Tower, and provide data science inputs for various parts of our integrated supply chain (ISC) strategy. The role is expected to manage production issues jointly with Baxter IT to resolution and develop preventive solutions to robust system performance. The role drives global alignment in processes and improving user adoption continuously. He/She acts as a liaison between the business end users, IT and systems development teams with a focus on extracting and delivering business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • More than 5+ years of experience in supply chain technology field.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work within a team setting.
  • Strong data science, root causing & problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Meticulous in data and ability to spot abnormality, commonality, patterns and pull out key insights.
  • Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL and API/EDI integrations
  • Knowledge of ERP, AWS, TMS, Transportation systems, Control Tower, and Supply Chain visibility systems
  • Understanding of the application development / configuration process.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills is required.
  • Ability to produce results with minimal direction
  • Must have good understanding of distribution supply chain.
  • Demonstrated high learning agility and high analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated system implementation success.
  • Proficient project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Be the product owner for the system assigned and serve as the functional SME to the system.
  • Partner with IT in making system performance robust.
  • Drive projects and deliverables assigned from design considerations through driving implementation and improving user adoption continually.
  • Liaison between business and IT for requirements and supporting existing applications
  • Partner and translate business requirements into application and data requirements and offer recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes
  • Support global rollouts of multiple transportation and fulfillment systems in different geographies
  • Understand and implement business use cases from requirements and design through UAT and go-live.
  • Continuously work with end users to enable user adoption
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify KPIs and develop dashboards and reports to monitor and measure supply chain performance
  • Develop, maintain and establishes operational specifications for transportation systems including information flow, configuration setup, testing and ad hoc reporting
  • Analyze large datasets to perform root-cause analysis of complex issues and uncovers solutions, trends and opportunities
  • Proactively provides insight and solutions from the data and analyzes trends to support regional/strategic decision making and assist in the management of strategic goals at multiple geographic levels.
  • Experience with ERP, TMS, Control Tower, Load Building or Transportation systems.
  • Possess strong root cause & problem solving capability, including driving design & development to preventive solutions with IT partner.
  • Possess strong design thinking capability to drive solutions for complex supply chain issues
  • Possess strong consultative, analytical and collaborative skills
