Lead Systems Analyst - remote

In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting federal initiatives aimed at enhancing national security and facilitating trade and travel. Your analytical skills will drive practical and efficient solutions, allowing our team to maintain the safety of U.S. borders. Collaborating with a high-performing team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions. The work you do will have a significant impact on government operations and public safety. Accountabilities Provide project/program management support to the Directorate’s Engineering Branch. Conduct problem identification and requirements analysis for various initiatives. Offer remote support to end users via support sessions. Track support issues and follow up with users for clarifications. Guide users step-by-step through the problem-solving process. Create and maintain training documentation. Research and document systems process workflows and data flows. Lead or support development and review of engineering management processes. Participate in team building research and share analytical techniques. Facilitate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups. Develop required artifacts for the Joint Requirements Integration and Management System Directive.
Requirements
- 3 to 10 years of experience in business, management, engineering, finance, or information management.
- Experience in operations research systems analysis or a related field.
- Familiarity with decision analysis methods to evaluate analytic tools and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively solve problems and learn quickly.
- Customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of financial principles is a plus.
- Experience with Clarity PPM Tool is a bonus.
- Experience with CBP Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Accountability (PPBA) framework is a plus.
