This is a SCA position. H&W $5.09/hour worked Job Summary: The Lead Supply Technician/Material Coordinator performs oversight and control of personnel. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain. Associates degree preferred. Knowledge and experience with Bench Stock levels. Good organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good research skills. Strong work ethics. Strong computer skills. Responsibilities Oversees personnel ensuring employees perform completion of assigned tasks(material control and supply functions) Acts as point of contact for interfacing with the government. Pulls and completes required reports. Assists with transportation of materials to and from work centers, along with proper packaging and handling of items during transportation. Participates in Rapid Improvement Events supporting Art of the Possible/Constraint-based Management goals. Researches, analyzes and performs corrective and preventive actions related to parts. Initiates purchase requests for parts, materials and supplies as requires. Coordinates material requirements with other production support personnel to reduce/turn-in excess serviceable/unserviceable materials. Takes action to ensure stock shelf-life is inspected daily, inventoried daily and replenished as needed. Processes issue request through Contractor Operated and Maintained Base supply (COMBS) and retrieve items from the warehouse. Maintains approved detail records/authorizations of spares, floating stock and local manufacturing assets and work coordination with maintenance back shops. Assists in investigations and preparation of survey reports when property is lost, damaged or destroyed. Orders, receives, stores, issues and transports aircraft parts and bench stock. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Working Conditions The working conditions will mostly be a well-lit, warehouse environment. Physical Requirements This position must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as well as have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
