What impact you’ll make As a member of the Hot Gas Path, Rotors, and Airfoils Supplier Quality Engineering Team, you will be an active contributor to delivering on our Vernova purpose by enabling and driving our team of external suppliers to deliver the high-quality hardware for our Gas Turbine fleet to power the ENERGY TRANSITION. Job Description What you’ll do Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Some key tools you will use in this include: PFMEA Qualifications 4D and 8D Problem Solving Own supplier results, especially driving improvements through the supplier scorecards. Some key tools you will use in this include: Defect tracking (Trends, Paretos, etc…) Identifying and closing process and inspection gaps Statistical analysis (utilizing Excel, Minitab, or other tools) Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Some key tools you will use in this include: Control Plan (Development and Sustaining) NDT Methods (FPI, MPI, Radiographic, etc…) Change Management What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar concept from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Quality in a manufacturing or supply chain setting Additional 4+ years of Quality Experience Eligible to work with US Export Controlled material (US Citizen or Permanent Resident) What will make you stand out You have significant Supplier Quality Experience You understand Industrial Gas Turbines, especially technical knowledge Manufacturing process knowledge, especially in areas such as investment casting, forging, and machining (traditional and special process). Eligibility Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future This role will require 10-25% travel to our vendors, primarily domestically This role is primarily based on our Greenville, SC campus but has flexibility for hybrid work as defined with your leader (approximately 80% on site/20% remote to start, with room to grow as you become more experienced in the role) This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $157,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus. Requirements
