Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience as a lead superintendent for a general contractor on commercial or public works projects
  • Ability to lead people and orchestrate complex site operations with clarity and accountability
  • Deep knowledge of code compliance, building standards, and construction best practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with construction technology including Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software
  • OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to pass a background check and LiveScan clearance as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead all project field operations, driving daily progress, safety, and quality
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and self-perform crews (Union Carpenters and Laborers)
  • Own the schedule and manage three-week lookaheads with precision
  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and designers to solve challenges before they escalate
  • Ensure strict safety compliance and proactively mitigate high-risk work activities
  • Manage inspections, punch lists, and designer observations
  • Document daily progress, labor, materials, and equipment using tools like Procore and Bluebeam
