About The Position

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Lead Sterile Processing Tech to join our Central Sterile Processing team! Employment Type: Full time Shift: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, rotating shift Summary: Perform and coordinate the cleaning, preparation, and sterilization of all specialty and surgical instrument trays. Take a lead role in education and training of new staff. Do the monthly load counts. Working closely with the manager and oversee daily operations in his or her absence.

Requirements

• Required Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of sterilization, biological testing or operating room technician experience
• Must read and write English and possess ability to communicate in English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities
