The Lead Spray Technician will oversee all aspects of the landscape plant health care program to include turf, shrub, and tree fertilization, weed control, and pesticide applications. The ideal candidate must be able to direct crews of 2-3 people, coordinate schedule with management staff, train employees on proper application technics, help crews complete applications, perform work on budget, and preform applications to the Colorado Department of Agriculture requirements. The person will be responsible for proper storage, handling, mixing, and applying various herbicides, fertilizers, and pesticides including the proper record keeping of all chemical applications. They will ensure that all training requirements are met per the Department of Agriculture. This requires being familiar with all applicable rules and regulations. This person will oversee that all our equipment is working and maintained properly, and that all crews have the proper first aid, safety, and spill response kits. This person will also aid in the applications. The ideal candidate would possess a current Qualified Supervisors license in categories 206 and 207. However, we are willing to help a qualified candidate get their license if they do not currently have one.
