About The Position

As a Lead Specialist, Technology Operations, you will act as a subject matter expert, responsible for the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of on-premise and could-based technology systems. You will lead complex operational initiatives, provide Tier 3 technical expertise, deliver fact-based recommendations to leadership, and mentor junior technology staff while supporting global operations and strategic technology initiatives. This is a predominately remote position that does require the candidate to live within a commutable distance and availability to travel into the office located in Vincennes, Indiana as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related area of study
  • 5-7 years' experience in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and server and network administration
  • 3-5 years' experience providing help desk operations support
  • 2 years' experience working on M&A integrations
  • Working knowledge of Azure, Active Directory and AWS
  • Experience with networking, including Cisco, ASA, Switches, IPv4, NAT, ACLs, firewalls, Wi-Fi technologies, VOIP, and QoS
  • Experience with Microsoft Server, O365, Exchange, and Linux
  • Self-motivated with a passion for technology and networks
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a quick and enthusiastic learner
  • Occasional nights/weekend hours may be required to perform or support system updates, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration and optimization of network infrastructure and systems
  • Own complex infrastructure changes, upgrades, and reconfigurations
  • Establish and maintain standards, documentation, and best practices for infrastructure management
  • Lead Server Management including Active Directory, O365, Azure, HyperV, and other infrastructure security platforms
  • Partner with the Information Security team with security related tasks, projects, and initiatives
  • Lead Tier 3 technical support across desktop, server, network, system admin, and voice systems
  • Provide assistance to other help desk staff to resolve more complex issues.
  • Assist in the client connectivity setups, security infrastructure, network adds/configurations/changes/troubleshooting
  • Act as the primary escalation partner for offshore teams in China and India
  • Coordinate cross-region troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Improve global support workflows and knowledge transfer while ensuring consistency across regions
  • Support the Technology team with M&A due diligence and integration planning and execution of system migrations
  • Lead mid-to-long-term and Tier 3 Technology projects
  • Leverage knowledge and IT expertise to troubleshoot and make recommendations
  • Manage project deadlines to ensure deliverables are completed on time
  • Drive automation, modernization, and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Leverage knowledge of technology implementations to coach and mentor other members of technology teams on global implementations
