About The Position

Nexxa.ai is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to lead technical discovery, architect high-impact AI automation solutions, and support the pre-sales process as we partner with global industrial organizations. This role sits at the intersection of technical consulting, workflow architecture, and customer strategy, serving as the bridge between enterprise customers, sales, and engineering. You will embed directly into customer environments — both virtually and onsite — to uncover deep operational challenges and turn them into actionable, high-ROI solution designs built on the Nexxa Nitro platform. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a technical leader who thrives in ambiguous environments and wants to define how industrial enterprises adopt intelligence at scale.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in solutions architecture, technical consulting, automation design, or similar roles.
  • Experience in construction, automotive manufacturing, oil & gas, industrial automation, or related sectors.
  • Exceptional ability to translate business problems into structured technical solutions.
  • Strong technical foundation in: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
  • Enterprise integration patterns (APIs, microservices, event-driven systems).
  • Data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, data lakes, real-time streaming).
  • Experience with: AI/ML workflows, including LLMs (Large Language Models), VLMs (Vision-Language Models), and Computer Vision systems.
  • Model deployment and MLOps for production environments.
  • Design and engineering software such as CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), Bluebeam, and similar platforms for industrial workflows.
  • Comfort with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ability to design and map complex architectures, including multi-service systems with clear data flows, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Understanding of security and compliance for industrial environments (network segmentation, identity management).
  • Strong communicator with presence across both technical and executive audiences.
  • Comfortable in early-stage, fast-moving environments with evolving processes.
  • Ability to travel for onsite discovery, workshops, and customer meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Discovery & Strategy Conduct immersive discovery sessions with operators, engineers, and executives across industrial environments.
  • Map workflows, bottlenecks, and system interactions to identify AI automation opportunities.
  • Translate unstructured customer pain points into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Pre-Sales Technical Leadership Partner with the Founding GTM to guide customers through early exploration and technical validation.
  • Communicate Nexxa’s solution capabilities, architectural approach, and delivery methodology.
  • Build trust and credibility by framing technical tradeoffs, risks, and expected ROI.
  • Scoping & Engagement Planning Develop detailed statements of work (SOWs) with clear deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure discovery insights translate into executable build plans.
  • Support customers through architecture, scoping, and early delivery planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, product, and GTM to align solution design with organizational goals.
  • Identify repeatable patterns that can become future solution modules or platform features.
  • Help shape Nexxa’s customer engagement and delivery playbook from the ground up.

Benefits

  • Work directly with the Founding GTM and executive team to define how industrial enterprises adopt AI.
  • Architect the intelligence layer for the world’s most operationally complex industries.
  • Remote role with flexible travel, competitive compensation, equity, and long-term growth opportunities.
