What you’ll do: Software Design, Development & Automation: Design and develop software applications using a variety of programming languages and modern development methodologies. Build and maintain CI/CD automation and assist the developer community in adopting standardized DevSecOps tools and shift-left security. Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve configuration and environment issues across key developer tools, including GitHub. Process Excellence: Bring expert-level knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within SAFe Agile and DevOps environments. Apply hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and GitHub. Best Practices & Innovation: Promote the adoption and refinement of software engineering best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps. Advocate for the use of AI-driven tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs) and assess emerging technologies for business value. Agile Culture: Foster a culture of agile excellence (Agile/SAFe) and continuous delivery across teams. Quality, Security & Compliance: Maintain audit-ready, compliant release processes (such as SOX requirements) and leverage metrics and analytics to drive ongoing improvement. Ensure application security scorecards consistently remain in good standing. Drive the adoption and standardization of unified DevOps CI/CD tools across the enterprise. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery and robust production support. Apply comprehensive knowledge of technologies, tools, and development methodologies and define IT strategy and technology roadmaps Foster an agile and growth mindset, promoting continuous improvement and innovation. Focus on automation and implement industry best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Act as a subject matter expert in specific programming languages, applications, or modules within large, complex systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in software development, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, Shell scripting, SQL, Git, Azure, AWS, Jira, Agile/SAFe, DevOps, CI/CD, Automation
  • Experience in leveraging GenAI tools such as Copilot, various LLMs, and Agentic AI
  • Experience with Agile SAFe, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Tableau

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering, or related field
  • Azure/AWS and GitHub certifications
  • Telecom industry experience
  • SOX/Audit related experience
