About The Position

On the Sales Technology team reporting to the Director of Solutions Architecture, you will support projects including Solicitation Management, Group Rooming List, Group Meeting and Events. Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Three (3) years of experience working in an environment with Kanban Agile development, DevOps, and Security considerations, using Splunk and Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo)
  • Experience working on Java, IIS, .NET Framework, SQL (SSIS, SSRS), Windows Server and SAML
  • This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis).
  • Travel up to ten percent (10%)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience with existing technology architecture and DevOps
  • Technology Management Experience
  • Experience with generative and agentic AI
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Previous hospitality experience

Responsibilities

  • As a Lead Software Engineer at Hilton, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software for Hilton Sales and Revenue applications
  • Accept and demonstrate the core principles of development practices and ensure these principles are followed throughout the team
  • You will collaborate with Architects, other Developers, Product Leads, and vendors to implement and evolve solutions that enable Hilton to maintain its position as a leader in Hospitality.
  • You will communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop, maintain, and support Sales & Revenue Applications.
  • Lead software developers and QA testers to deliver industry-leading solutions with outstanding quality and performance.
  • Follow the defined Agile methodology delivering industry-leading solutions with outstanding quality and performance.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of the software architecture across the system and providing day-to-day technical guidance to the development teams.
  • Serve as the technology application and subject matter expert for security reviews
