About The Position

Notified a leading global technology and services partner to corporate professionals, is expanding its Technology team and adding a Lead Software Engineer in Woburn, MA. Our expectation at this time is you will work from our office located at 130 New Boston Street on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday. We are looking for individuals who love to code and want to build amazing products for a global market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is required. Master's degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ overall experience in the field of software engineering required.
  • Frontend framework experience such as Angular and/or React required.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-performance backend systems using .NET, C# and Node.js.
  • Develop robust APIs and microservices that integrate with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions using AWS services. Relevant certificates are added plus.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript & Typescript.
  • Collaborative working habits that accelerate the team.
  • Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written) is required. Practical experience in the application of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Responsible, independent, and solution-oriented working style that is based on an overall understanding of the respective problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing enterprise scale, multi-user applications.
  • Solid understanding of designing and optimizing Web APIs for large scale usage.
  • Experience in MVC.NET web-based application development using
  • Microsoft .NET Framework and C#
  • Dependency Injection
  • Object-Relational Mapping ORM Frameworks
  • IIS hosting
  • SQL Server, schema creation, query optimization
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop state of the art, modern, high performing, scalable web applications.
  • Review of feature documentation and assisting the team in breaking down all features into stories for the team backlog.
  • Analyze business problems, design solutions, and develop modern web applications, web APIs, database schema, follow best coding practices like code review, unit tests etc.
  • Ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements of existing systems and platforms.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical specifications.
  • Active participation in the implementation, operation and troubleshooting of new cloud-based and cloud-hosted services.
  • Active participation in building and improving our continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD).
  • Participation in the continuous improvement of our Agile and DevOps culture and engineering best practices.
  • Monitoring system performance and creation of highly scalable and operable systems.
  • Independent and joint development of solutions for complex problems.
