Role Summary: As a hands-on technical leader, you will take ownership of critical projects, lead architecture and design discussions, and write high-quality code alongside your team. You’ll be a role model who balances strategic leadership with day-to-day development, championing automated testing and UI innovation to deliver robust, user-friendly products.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python and/or Java development (Node JS & JavaScript are plus).
  • Well-versed in Spring Frameworks.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation to support cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows.
  • Experience with AWS services including ROSA, ECS (Elastic Container Service), EKS (Kubernetes), Fargate, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, and infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Understanding of AWS security best practices and cost optimization strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, Kubernetes (EKS or ROSA).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Background designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply architectural design patterns and principles for building scalable, maintainable services.
  • Understanding of engineering best practices, integrating testing frameworks, security measures, and DevOps principles throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalents), championing test automation to improve product quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building and managing data integration services to facilitate seamless data flow across systems and databases (add-on).
  • Experience managing and integrating large-scale data stores or high-volume transactional databases.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database architectures, including query optimization and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, and understanding of data security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Newton or similar data integration frameworks is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
  • Proficiency or strong familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React and/or Angular.
