The Role Zeta Global is looking for a driven Lead Software Engineer to join our MIP/AIP Platforms Team. This team is the engine behind Zeta's ad technology core, owning the systems for Programmatic AdTech (DSP), omnichannel data integration, and client-facing self-service tools that unify activation, reporting, and measurement. You will play a critical role in building and scaling the infrastructure for our core programmatic systems, leveraging a polyglot stack to integrate bid stream intelligence, sentiment data, and advanced AI services across our platform to deliver immediate, impactful solutions. Key Team Ownership Areas The MIP/AIP Platforms team has full ownership of the following critical initiatives: Omnichannel Explorer: Developing the full-stack architecture for integrating sentiment data, bid stream information, and measurement tools for client use. Xander Curate: Implementing solutions for direct data and audience porting into Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), including client self-service and integrated reporting. Survey Platforms: Building the user-facing packaging, presentation, and interaction layers for surveys, focusing on optimization and response rate improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of engineering experience with a demonstrated history of technical contributions.
  • AdTech Knowledge: Foundational experience or strong understanding of Programmatic Advertising, including DSPs, bid stream mechanics, and data-intensive AdTech environments.
  • Polyglot Proficiency: Proficiency in multiple languages, including hands-on experience with Ruby, Python, and Java.
  • Front-End Experience: Experience developing scalable front-end applications, specifically utilizing React.
  • System Design: Strong architecture, design, and problem-solving skills with a focus on security, reliability, and performance.
  • AI/Cloud: Experience with cloud infrastructure and foundational understanding of AI/LLM concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Distributed Systems: Experience building and scaling distributed systems is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Development: Design and build high-volume, low-latency programmatic AdTech (DSP) systems and omnichannel data integration solutions using a polyglot stack.
  • Full-Stack Implementation: Drive the development of new features and systems using Ruby, Python, Java, and React to deliver integrated, full-stack solutions.
  • AI Integration: Implement the integration of bid stream intelligence, sentiment data, and foundational AI services into MIP/AIP systems to drive platform value.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Solve complex technical challenges related to scalability, reliability, and security within distributed AdTech environments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product and other Engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions that advance Zeta's programmatic capabilities.
