About The Position

The Lead Soft Count Clerk is responsible for overseeing the operation of the soft count room and staff in the absence of the Soft Count Supervisor. Additional duties include performing count and accurate recording of drop boxes while adhering to department policies and procedures, oversees the sorting and counting of chips and currency in drop boxes and strapping of currency. Ensures clear and accurate posting of Games summary sheet, oversees the preparation of the cash and chips to transfer to the cage. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $24.43/hr increasing to $25.00/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
One year of prior soft count experience is required
Six months of supervisory experience
Previous cash handling experience
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
Must have good manual and finger dexterity
Must be able to bend, reach, lift, squat and lift up to 25 pounds
Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
All applicants must obtain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
