About The Position

FASTSIGNS of Kingston is hiring a lead sign Installer to join our team! Are you looking for a career in a new trade? As a sign Installer, you'll play an essential role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it - in the ground, on a wall, on a building, or hanging from a ceiling. You'll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect, and hang items, both inside and out. Fear of heights is not in your vocabulary! In fact, most of your days will be spent moving, lifting, and building for a wide variety of sign installations. Requirements

• Clean driving record
• 18 years of age or older
• Proficiently uses hand and power tools
• Previous work in the construction field is required.

Nice To Haves

• Scissor lift and bucket truck experience preferred, but not required
• Experience installing a variety of signs and graphics preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all off-site sign installations
• Responsible for pre-planning the installation
• Assists in final fabrication for a successful installation
• Able to assess an environment for the needs and techniques of the installation
• Reviews job requirements and verifies measurements before starting
• Able to work independently and with other team members when required
• Use of Ladders, Scissor Lifts, and Bucket Trucks
• Maintaining hand tools and related equipment
