About The Position

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping/Receiving process, including coordinating shipments, assisting with inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to production floor. Assist in directing activities of shipping/receiving associates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in shipping/receiving operations.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with problem solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• MS Office Suite, SAP experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Good understanding of process and process organization
• Forklift license

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing shipping/receiving clerks to ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders.
• Ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensuring Kanban milk runs / refills and material pulls for production floor are done in timely and accurate manner.
• Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits.
• Maintaining a clean and organized shipping/receiving area.
• Developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency to reduce errors.
• Training new employees in shipping/receiving processes and procedures.
