About The Position

Supplier of industrial bolts, custom fasteners, and precision threading services serving the oil & gas, petrochemical, and heavy industrial markets is seeking a Lead Shipping & Receiving Associate to oversee daily warehouse shipping and receiving operations while ensuring accuracy, safety, and documentation compliance. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience (industrial preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
  • Familiarity with MTRs preferred.
  • Basic computer/data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Applicants must include a Detailed Resume and 3 Professional References, along with the application.
  • Applicants MUST be a CURRENT Texas or Louisiana resident at time of application and hire in.
  • Applicants must have a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs regularly
  • Frequent walking, bending, and climbing
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Working in varying warehouse temperatures
  • Operating forklifts and material-handling equipment safely
  • Required employee have own steel-toed boots

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily inbound and outbound shipping activities.
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming bolts, studs, nuts, and industrial fasteners.
  • Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, BOLs, and supporting documentation.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, damage, and quality.
  • Ensure proper tagging and traceability of materials and heat numbers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Enter and maintain Material Test Reports (MTRs) accurately.
  • Ensure proper heat number traceability for industrial fasteners.
  • Update inventory records and shipment logs in internal systems.
  • Maintain compliance with customer and industry documentation requirements.
  • Assist in prioritizing daily shipping workload.
  • Coordinate with Production and Sales teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicate with freight carriers and drivers to manage logistics.
  • Help train new warehouse personnel on procedures and safety standards.
