About The Position

Supplier of industrial bolts, custom fasteners, and precision threading services serving the oil & gas, petrochemical, and heavy industrial markets is seeking a Lead Shipping & Receiving Associate to oversee daily warehouse shipping and receiving operations while ensuring accuracy, safety, and documentation compliance. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience (industrial preferred.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
Familiarity with MTRs preferred.
Basic computer/data entry skills.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Applicants must include a Detailed Resume and 3 Professional References, along with the application.
Applicants MUST be a CURRENT Texas or Louisiana resident at time of application and hire in.
Applicants must have a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs regularly
Frequent walking, bending, and climbing
Standing for extended periods
Working in varying warehouse temperatures
Operating forklifts and material-handling equipment safely
Required employee have own steel-toed boots

Responsibilities

Lead daily inbound and outbound shipping activities.
Receive, unload, and verify incoming bolts, studs, nuts, and industrial fasteners.
Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, BOLs, and supporting documentation.
Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, damage, and quality.
Ensure proper tagging and traceability of materials and heat numbers.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
Enter and maintain Material Test Reports (MTRs) accurately.
Ensure proper heat number traceability for industrial fasteners.
Update inventory records and shipment logs in internal systems.
Maintain compliance with customer and industry documentation requirements.
Assist in prioritizing daily shipping workload.
Coordinate with Production and Sales teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate with freight carriers and drivers to manage logistics.
Help train new warehouse personnel on procedures and safety standards.
