This role is ideal for an experienced server who wants to elevate their impact, set the tone on the floor, and help guide teammates while delivering outstanding service. Lead Server Responsibilities As a Lead Server at Arzola’s, you’ll be a pivotal player in delivering Legendary Hospitality to every guest. This role goes beyond taking orders and running food—you’ll execute a polished, detailed, and genuinely personable style of service while serving as a role model for the front-of-house team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a server or hospitality service professional
  • Strong communication and listening skills with excellent multitasking abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while standing and moving for extended periods
  • Calm, patient, and composed under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Sales or upselling experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Delivering our promise of Legendary Hospitality to every guest
  • Greeting and escorting guests to their tables while recognizing Queso Club Loyalty Members
  • Presenting menus and providing detailed guidance according to our Steps of Service
  • Offering food and beverage recommendations, presenting specials, and executing our Suggestive Selling program
  • Taking accurate food and drink orders using POS and loyalty software
  • Serving food and beverages for your guests while supporting teammates during service
  • Clearing and resetting tables, including dishes, silverware, and linens
  • Attending daily pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu updates, and service standards
  • Complying with all food safety, alcohol service, and health department regulations
