Requirements

• previous restaurant and/or customer service experience
• ability to follow simple instructions
• compose short correspondence and memos
• effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to residents and staff
• ability to use Point of Sale (POS) system
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• training newly hired servers
• lead servers in daily tasks including table assignments and bussing stations
• performs all functions of a server
• may act as food runner when assigned
• assist with oversight of staff as needed
