Lead Server/Waitstaff
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated lead server to join our growing team in Buffalo, NY. About us: Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. Lead server/wait staff position details: We are hiring for a Regular Part Time (30 hours/week) position. The scheduled hours will be Tuesday - Saturday, 2pm - 8pm.
Requirements
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, and visitors.
- 2 years of waitstaff experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in dining supervision is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Keep the dining supervisor informed of any issues with meal service or any resident meal issues.
- Train and work with new servers, ensuring they are following customer service guidelines.
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests in a fine dining atmosphere.
