About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated server to join our growing team in Buffalo, NY. About us: Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. From independent living to a full continuum of care, residents can always expect a lifestyle that meets their needs and interests. Server/wait staff position details: We are hiring for a Part Time, 12 - 15 hours/week position. The scheduled hours will be 4pm - 8pm Thursday and Friday, and 10am - 2pm Sunday.
Requirements
- No prior experience required! On-the-job training will be provided.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests in a fine dining atmosphere.
- Utilize a point-of-sale system to order and deliver menu items in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work well under general supervision in a fast-paced environment.
